Get Involved

This is your neighborhood. Your voice matters. The only way to make sure the 1601 Washington Avenue project works for all of us is to show up, speak up, and get organized.

Our Community-Led Working Group is the only effort that has actively invited all residents — renters, homeowners, business owners, and long-time neighbors — to participate in shaping a fair Community Benefits Agreement (CBA).

Ways You Can Help Right Now

1. Join the Working Group
Be part of the discussions, help review project impacts, and contribute ideas for what our neighborhood needs. We meet regularly, share updates openly, and welcome all voices.

2. Attend Key Meetings

  • RCO Vote – Wednesday, August 13, 6:00 PM at Tindley Temple, 750 S. Broad Street.
  • ZBA Hearing – Wednesday, August 20, 2:00 PM (in person or via Zoom). We’re asking for a continuance so we can complete a real community process.

3. Spread the Word
Share this website, talk to your neighbors, and post on social media. The more people know what’s happening, the stronger our voice will be.

4. Share Your Input
Tell us what matters most to you about this project — from building design and traffic safety to affordable housing and public space. Your feedback will guide our community-led CBA.
